Rats, Mice and Squirrels all head for any warm dry areas such as lofts to over winter.

Squirrels are particularly common for invading people’s lofts, where they can cause an incredible amount of damage in a very short period of time.

Not only will squirrels chew on electric cables & water pipes, squirrels often gnaw the wooden rafters of the roof which can significantly weaken the structural rigidity of the roof.
